Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Satori Lab (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use our website at satori-lab.com (the “Site”) and our software solutions (the “Solutions”), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (“BDSG”).
1. Controller
The controller responsible for processing personal data in connection with this Site is the natural person operating under the label Satori Lab:
J. Leonardo Gonzalez
Remigiusstraße 17
53639 Königswinter
Germany
Email: admin@satori-lab.com
Phone: +49 176 84276247
Status: This project is currently operated as a natural person (not a registered company or tradesperson / Gewerbetreibender). If that changes, this Policy will be updated to reflect the new legal entity.
2. Categories of data, purposes, and legal bases
2.1 Website (informational use)
When you visit the Site, the hosting provider and our infrastructure may automatically process technical data such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, and referrer URL (“log data”), to deliver the Site securely and ensure stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests in secure, reliable operation).
We do not use this information to identify you personally unless necessary to investigate abuse or as required by law.
2.2 Contact
If you email us at admin@satori-lab.com, we process the data you provide (e.g. email address, message content) to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if pre-contractual/contractual; otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in communication).
2.3 Solutions (e.g. browser extension, accounts, payments)
Our Solutions may process additional categories of data depending on what you choose to use (for example: account identifiers, usage metadata, content you submit to generate suggestions, or payment data handled by a payment processor). Each Solution should have its own solution-specific privacy notice describing:
- what data is collected;
- why it is needed;
- how long it is kept;
- which processors or third parties receive it; and
- the legal basis under GDPR.
Update the solution-specific section for LinkedIn Comment Assistant (and any future tools) before publishing or materially changing processing, so users receive transparent, accurate information.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies only where necessary to operate the Site or where you have given consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), for example for analytics or marketing embeds. If we add non-essential tools, we will describe them in a cookie notice and obtain consent where required.
4. Recipients and processors
We use service providers (e.g. hosting, email, analytics) who process data on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR (data processing agreements), where applicable. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions, as applicable.
5. Storage periods
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, unless a longer period is required by law (e.g. tax or commercial record-keeping). Log data is typically kept for a limited period unless needed for security investigations.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR);
- rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR);
- erasure (“right to be forgotten”) in certain cases (Art. 17 GDPR);
- restrict processing in certain cases (Art. 18 GDPR);
- data portability where applicable (Art. 20 GDPR);
- object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR);
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Germany, a list of authorities is available from the federal and state data protection commissioners.
7. No automated decision-making
We do not use solely automated decision-making, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, unless we explicitly inform you otherwise and have a valid legal basis.
8. Children
Our Site and Solutions are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised accordingly.
